Arctic Shores are hiring for a pro-active and forward-thinking Software Tester to join our thriving Product Development Team and drive the testing function for Arctic Shores. We are looking for someone that can write clean and readable test scripts, define and carry out quality assurance of our applications, conduct product testing and create test plans & test cases. The ideal candidate for this role will have a keen eye for detail, a willingness to really immerse themselves with the product they are working with and be confident when it comes to decision making and liaising with the other teams. If you have past experience of being a stand-alone tester or experience coming into an organisation and pioneering their testing functions, then this role is for you. 

Other responsibilities of this role include: -

  • Replicating errors and bugs
  • Writing detailed bug reports
  • Ensuring product quality and report on any defects found in our products
  • Collaborating with the App Team on understanding bug reports
  • Conducting exploratory testing on our apps
  • Reporting on bugs, and understanding their wider business implications
  • Conducting performance testing on our apps
  • Creating detailed test plans and executing them
  • Providing feedback on product quality to our development team
  • Assessing user flow and general accessibility issues within our apps
  • Contribute to the growth of Arctic Shores’ platform in the marketplace by ensuring product quality is up to the company’s standard

  • Communicates technical issues clearly and concisely, both written and verbally

  • Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies
  • Collaboratively devise solutions to problems
  • Experience with version control tools

The Nice to Haves: -

  • Experience using Unity3D
  • Experience carrying out QA for software, ideally games
