Account Executive
At Arctic Shores, we believe you’re more than a CV. That your unique potential can’t be cropped and condensed into a side of A4.
That’s why we’re changing how the world sees potential, with UNA – the Talent Discovery Platform. By helping every employer see beyond the CV (and even scrap it for good), we give everybody a fair shot to show their qualities in action. For fairer hiring, and a fairer world of work.
We are now driving rapid growth through the launch of a new disruptive technology in the industry with clients such as AXA, BBC, Siemens and PwC. The Account Executive’s main goal is to grow the company’s client base in mid-market by meeting with decision makers in select industries. You will need to understand their needs, educate them on the platform, and facilitate the sales process from discovery to close. You will then make introductions and transition closed deals to the customer success team.
We need a driven salesperson who has a consultative approach, a successful track record growing and onboarding clients with polished presentation skills. Ideally you will have spent time in a sales development role so you have the grit and determination to create opportunities and have experienced the sales cycle from the very beginning of lead creation. You will become an expert in what we sell, to who, and why, and channel that enthusiasm into all your sales activity.
While the Account Executive is responsible for an ARR goal, they will be part of a brilliant team in the Sales Function and supported by our Sales Development Reps. This role requires regular collaboration with friends cross-functionally in the Customer & Marketing teams.
As an Account Executive you will be:
- Developing and nurturing relationships within accounts in your territory; prospecting priority accounts, conducting online demos, contract negotiations and closing deals.
- Exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
- Generating short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation
- Effectively challenge in customer conversations to shift from vendor to trusted advisor; educating the customer and taking control of the conversation
- Accurately forecast sales activity, pipeline management and revenue achievement through proper use of
sales tools (including HubSpot, ZoomInfo etc.) - Qualifying sales opportunities based on ideal customer profile (ICP) and strong use cases for assessment
- Effectively leverage internal resources in sales campaigns to ensure sales success
- Partnering with customer success team to ensure a high standard of customer onboarding

Applying for the role
We won’t be asking for your CV for this role. Why? Because your potential can’t be packed into a side of A4. To get to know you – the real you – we’ll ask you to complete our UNA assessment instead. This gives us a much better feel for how you’ll fit into the role, taking into account all the qualities that make you, you.
UNA - our assessment doesn’t take long, and you’ll get instant feedback into your qualities once you’re done. You’ll receive feedback regardless of whether you proceed with your application – a little thank you from us, for taking the time to apply. Use it to learn a little more about yourself, and to inform the next steps in your career.
Our deadline for applications (this includes submitting your answers to our questions and completing the assessment) is 14th August 2022.
If you’ve got any questions about the process at all, we’re all ears!
